Attention Zeta Chi Alumni, Pike Alumni and Friends:

Each year on March 1 your Association, Zeta Chi Alumni Association (ZXAA) requests you to join or renew your membership. The annual dues are $50. Options for payment are using the Paypal link attached or sending me a check made out to ZXAA to: Jim Roebuck, 1638 S. Enterprise, Springfield, MO 65804

ZXAA funds during the last year have been used to provide mailings/email to alumni, support our website, host the annual meeting, offset the cost of the fire truck restoration, and support the ZX colony at MSU. The expenses of ZXAA are small, so the vast majority of money is used directly back to the alumni. Currently our balance is running a little over $1000. We need everyone to support ZXAA at this great time so we can continue efforts the Association has developed.

Currently there is a 63 man Zeta Chi colony at Missouri State University. This was put in place in February 2011. ZXAA has an active Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) in place to help the colony achieve its goals and form a chapter. The timeline for this is 10-18 months. Jay Jackson, son of ZX John Jackson is the President of Zeta Chi. The goal of the colony is to continue to recruit and have 85 by the end of the semester. This is a group of impressive young men who make up scholars, band members, football players and other athletes. Their accumulative GPA as a group is 3.1. Pictures are on Facebook and site.

ZXAA led the way in the return of Zeta Chi to campus. We needed your support and dues to make this happen. I can assure you the money received as dues will be spent wisely. ZXAA has a 13 member committee involved in decisions, along with officers. Now is the time to send your dues! I encourage everyone to check our website often, www.zetachipikes.com and join us on Facebook at Zeta Chi Alumni Association. If you have any questions, please contact me or any of the committee members.
