Zeta Chi Alumni Association

The Zeta Chi Alumni Association (ZX AA) had their annual meeting the weekend of July 14, 15, 16 at University Plaza in Springfield, MO. Attending the meeting on Saturday were 38 alumni and over 50 total alumni enjoyed the events of the weekend. The group enjoyed a Friday night reception at the Hotel, Saturday morning from 10-noon the AA meeting was held, Saturday afternoon we toured our old house at 800 S. National, now the home of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. It was like walking into a time warp, not much had really changed!!!! Events concluded Saturday night with alumni attending a Springfield Cardinals baseball game. Heartland President Robert Cox welcomed everyone to the fastest growing Alumni Association in Pi Kappa Alpha and announced during our meeting that Zeta Chi is on the 2007-2008 school calendar to be re colonized. There are many things which need to take place before this process is complete, both MSU and the IFC at MSU will need to give their approval. The AA expects this process to take a year to complete. Big travelers were Barry Arbuckle from Los Angeles, CA and Guy Clemente from New York City. We had many attend from the state of Texas and Chicago area. Also, the KC boys were present as always. Thanks for everyone making the commitment and being part of our great weekend. Our site continues to grow and improve. Soon we will have our directory available for members to email others, photos of the weekend activities will be under Gallery very soon also, it is important that you PROVIDE the Association feedback on things important to you and that you want to be a part of our site. Two distinguished alumni have pledged to match $10,000 if the Association meets its goal of 200 members by December 31, 2006, we need to talk this up, the push for 200 is on.
